Piles of Tissues

i have a pile of tissues sitting beside me. tissues used in an futile attempt to rid my nostrils of what lurks inside. be in prayer for those who are sick, who are weary, who are distressed, and for those who live their lives in constant turmoil with their body’s ailments. Jesus healed, and can continue to heal, if He is willing (Matt. 8:1-3). i pray that the desire for us to return to the way things were drives us to pray even more fervently for healing and restoration.

  1. this makes me think of one of my favorite passages (which is inspiration for my favorite hymn when i was very young), that incidentally was also on one of your wedding prayer things from the rehearsal dinner…
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:29-31

I was praying with this alot while Tiffany (James’ sister) was in labor for 16 hours. Now even more as she has to stay in the labor ICU and her new baby, my niece, Keira, has to stay in the neonatal icu.

    miss you!

p.s. i don’t know why but commenting makes me feel nervous!…i’m lame! haha
